At River Landing Dental, we offer dental cleanings. Dental Cleanings is the removal of plaque and calculus from above and below the gum line. It may also include oral medications and rinses to kill bacteria and aid in gum and bone healing.

Maintaining proper dental hygiene can eliminate the possibility of infection, controls any further infections and bone loss, reduces swollen and bleeding gums, reduces bad breath, avoid tooth loss, decreased risk for diseases associated with periodontal disease such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, and it can decrease the risk of preterm low birth weight babies in pregnant women.

 

 

We recommend dental cleanings every 6-12 months.
